The 4th Annual Arizona Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 as a Virtual Event.  Run, walk, or roll in your own neighborhood or park (or inside on a treadmill) to help raise awareness of this life-saving surgery and celebrate Ostomy Awareness Day.

With your registration you will receive a unique 10th Anniversary OAD Race T-Shirt. Your local Race Director will make arrangements for your T-Shirt pick-up in advance of the event at a safe location.

Ask your family, friends or support group to join or donate to your own virtual team and help us spread the message that “Ostomies Are Life-Savers”.

All proceeds benefit United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.

Ready, set, go! It’s time to get your walking or running shoes on and plan to participate in UOAA’s 3rd Annual Arizona Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

This Fun Run/Walk will start at the Dove Ramada at Red Mountain Park in Mesa, where you’ll hear the wonderful sounds of nature and be able to experience the amazing wildlife as you head to the Falcon Ramada. You will then continue on to the Hawk Ramada around the duck pond, heading back to the Dove Ramada for some fun, food and entertainment. This event is a fun run and not a certified 5k race.

This event is held annually to raise awareness of this life-saving surgery, empower those living with an ostomy or continent diversion, and raise funds to support UOAA’s programs and services. We encourage you to invite your family, friends, co-workers, caregivers and others to join you at this special event to walk, run or just enjoy the family-friendly festivities.

The Inaugural Arizona Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k Fun Run will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Mesa, Arizona

RACE COURSE

As we start the race at the Dove Ramada we will hear the wonderful sounds of nature and be able to experience the amazing wildlife as we head to the Falcon Ramada. Throughout the day: Crafts for kids, Ostomy Bingo, Corn hole toss, horse shoes, Fishing is at your own cost (kids under 9 are free.)

Parking is on SunValley Blvd off of Brown, in front of the Dove Ramada.

ACTIVITIES

There will be an opportunity to peruse the booths and get connected with suppliers, and local & national advocacy groups.

REGISTRATION

Online Registration ends at the end of the day on Oct. 4, 2017.

FUNDRAISING

You can register to fundraise, start or join a fundraising team, set a goal, and begin raising money in support of United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA). You can also search for other participants and donate toward their goals.
