Your child can sense when you are anxious so staying calm will help them stay calm.
Be aware of your facial expressions as your child can tell when you are upset, fearful, or anxious.
Although your child has an ostomy they need to be allowed to live as normally as possible and participate in as many activities as possible as other children of the same age.
