The Ostomy Support Group of Southern Indiana meets on the first Sunday of every1 month at 2 p.m. at Daviess Community Hospital2 (see map) to provide a welcoming and supportive space for individuals living with or preparing for ostomy or other diversion surgery.
We are a peer-led group offering education, encouragement, and connection with others who share similar experiences. A certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) nurse is present at most meetings to offer expert guidance. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend.
For those unable to attend in-person or who prefer attending online, we offer our meetings as a hybrid space. We use Google Meet for our meetings (app installation not necessary). Click here to request the link.
We also have a Supply Donation Closet. We accept all unused ostomy and wound care supplies. Supplies may be brought with you to a meeting or dropped off at the Daviess Community Hospital Wound Care Center during office hours3.
