The Carmichael Ostomy Support Group located in Carmichael, California invites you to attend their Ostomy Awareness Day event on Saturday, October 7th. The event will be held from 11:00am to 3:30pm at the Veteran’s Memorial Building located at 5750 Grant Avenue in Carmichael. There will be a focus on skill competency with a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence (CWOC) Nurse available to assist in pouching techniques using stoma models, ostomy manufacturers, ostomy products, Ask-a-Nurse Booth, and educational materials which will include a Wound Ostomy Resource list.
