8th Annual Meridian, ID Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K

October 6 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Ready, set, go! It’s time to get your walking or running shoes on and plan to participate in UOAA’s 8th Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K in Idaho.  We are excited to announce a NEW LOCATION for this 5k Fun Run, which previously took place in Boise, Idaho. Join us Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the beautiful Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park, Shelter A, in Meridian, Idaho.

The Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park is a 58-acre regional park established in 2012. The park was a gift to the City of Meridian in honor of the man who once farmed the land on which the park is now located. The park includes many amenities such as an Amphitheatre, Basketball, Bike Racks, Bocce Ball, Community Garden and Pollinator Garden, Concession Stand, Drinking Fountains, a Labyrinth, Public Art, Playgrounds, Stocked Fishing Ponds and an Accessible Fishing Dock, Restrooms, and many more!

This event is held annually to raise awareness of this life-saving surgery, empower those living with an ostomy or continent diversion, and raise funds to support UOAA’s programs and services. We encourage you to invite family, friends, co-workers, caregivers and others to join you at this special event to walk, run or just enjoy the family-friendly festivities.

All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
