Ready, set, go! It’s time to get your walking or running shoes on and plan to participate in UOAA’s 6th Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K in Boise, Idaho on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
This 5k Fun Run and Kid’s Fun Run will be held at Ann Morrison Park at the Old Timer’s Pavilion (covered shelter) located at 1000 West American Blvd., Boise, Idaho. Ann Morrison Park is a 153-acre (62 ha) urban park along the Boise River and includes picnic facilities, bocce courts, a disc golf course, horseshoe pits, an outdoor gym, a volleyball court, a playground, tennis courts, and fields for softball, soccer, cricket, and football.
This event is held annually to raise awareness of this life-saving surgery, empower those living with an ostomy or continent diversion, and raise funds to support UOAA’s programs and services. We encourage you to invite family (there is a special “Kid’s Run/Walk!), friends, co-workers, caregivers and others to join you at this special event to walk, run or just enjoy the family-friendly festivities.
All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
