Join us in celebration of Ostomy Awareness Day on Saturday, October 3, 2026 for the Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k.

In-person events are scheduled in states around the country on Saturday, October 3rd (AL, OH, TN, NH, MI, OR) and Sunday October 4th (ID, NH) More events, locations and details will be announced soon! The Virtual run/walk/roll will return so you can participate and gather with friends and family wherever you are.

Celebrate Ostomy Awareness Day 2026 with the Virtual Ostomy 5k and in-person events around the country on October 3rd and 4th. The Ostomy 5k event is a key fundraiser to support the programs and services of United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA)

Run, Walk, Roll or Pedal in your own neighborhood, fitness center or local park. Or hop on your home treadmill in support of ostomy awareness.

Ask your family, friends or support group members to join you by creating your own RUN/WALK TEAM! It’s an easy step to create one after you’ve registered for the event.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES T-SHIRT & BIB

Your registration fee includes the unique Ostomy Awareness Day – Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k T-Shirt and Bib. We encourage you to register by JULY 31st to guarantee your T-shirt size availability and save $5.00!

T-shirts to in-person events will be handed out locally.

VIRTUAL RUN
Early Bird gets the T-Shirt and saves $5.00 so register now. T- Shirt Deadline is July 31, 2026 at midnight to get your unique Race T-shirt.

Register as an “Early Bird” for the Virtual Ostomy 5k (before July 31st) to save save $5.00 AND receive your 2026 Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k T-shirt in the mail early (mid-August).

VIRTUAL RUN – BIB ONLY
Please register by September 23 to ensure you will receive your Bib in the mail via USPS prior to October 3rd. After September 23rd a Bib will be emailed to you.

FUNDRAISE or DONATE TO SUPPORT UOAA

As this is a critical fundraising event for our nonprofit organization, we encourage you to start a Personal or Team Fundraiser when you Register. You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address, personalize your fundraising message, and direct your friends and family to your Personal or Team page to sponsor you in your fundraising goal. There will also be great fundraising incentives awarded to our top fundraisers!
