1st Annual Lafayette, LA Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K

October 5, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Ready, set, go! It’s time to get your walking or running shoes on and plan to participate in UOAA’s 1st Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K to be held in Louisiana!  Join us Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at Moncus Park located at 2913 Johnston Street in Lafayette. This family friendly event will include lots of fun and laughter, local vendors, food, music and celebration so be sure to bring your entire family!

Moncus Park is a 100-acre green space in the heart of Lafayette — a place where nature, culture, and community come together. Once a working horse farm, this land has been transformed into a thriving urban oasis through the power of public vision and private support.

The Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k is held annually to raise awareness of this life-saving surgery, empower those living with an ostomy or continent diversion, and raise funds to support UOAA’s programs and services. We encourage you to invite family, friends, co-workers, caregivers and others to join you at this special event to walk, run or just enjoy the family-friendly festivities.

All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
