General Fund Giving helps UOAA create trusted resources, connects people in need to support groups and assistance, and maintain our educational website and organizational expenses.

Tax Benefit for Charitable Giving in 2021:
Charitable contributions are normally deductible only by taxpayers who itemize deductions. The CARES act of March 2020 and additional relief act of Dec 2020 allow deductions for cash contributions in 2021 by taxpayers who take a standard deduction instead of itemizing. For tax year 2021 this deduction is limited to $300 for an individual or $600 for a couple filing jointly. Check with your tax advisor whether you can take advantage of this deduction.
