We extend a warm welcome from the Desert Ostomy Chapter of the United Ostomy Associations of America.
Meetings:
We meet in person on the first Tuesday of each month, at 1 pm at the:
Mesquite Public Library
Learning Center Meeting Room
160 W. First North St.
Mesquite, NV 89027 (see map)
Every person with an ostomy has a story to tell. The ostomy support group provides a safe, caring place to tell your story among people who understand and share your experiences and feelings.
Family members and candidates considering an ostomy are welcome. The group offers education, encouragement, and support to anyone whose life is affected by an ostomy.
We invite you to join us and to be encouraged by others who have journeyed down the same road. We are truly looking forward to meeting you at our next meeting. Until then, please be encouraged knowing you are not alone.
Each meeting we cover three topics concerning ostomy care. We end our meeting with an open discussion time to answer questions from the members participating.
We encourage you to sign up for UOAA’s free Monthly E-Newsletter at: https://www.ostomy.org/e-news-sign/
