SUMMARY:Advocate Training Webinar - Your Story is Your Power
DESCRIPTION:Join UOAA live on July 23rd at 12:00PM EST for a special advocacy training webinar. \nPersonal stories are one of the most powerful tools in advocacy. They put a human face on policy issues\, change perspectives\, and can influence lawmakers and policymakers in ways that facts and statistics alone cannot. This training will help you effectively share your experience when communicating with elected officials—whether in a virtual meeting\, an in-person visit\, or through a letter or email. \nDuring this session\, you’ll learn how to be a compelling advocate\, communicate with confidence\, and craft your personal story into a powerful two-minute “elevator speech” that leaves a lasting impression. \nWe want to prepare our advocates in advance of our next phase in the national campaign to protect access to ostomy and urological supplies.  \nOur speakers will include patient advocates Kelly Dwyer and Kimberly Holiday-Coleman.  \nRemember: Your voice matters.  \nJoin us today (Thursday 7/23/26) at (12 noon ET\, 11 am CT\, 10 am MT\, 9 am PT) for this special UOAA Advocacy webinar. Watch at the presentation link on our YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/live/5dUAG36T_xM?si=8Bi7ou7U6ZMeKiCz and login there or on UOAA’s Facebook Live if you’d like to comment\, chat and ask questions during the program. We’ll also be streaming on @uoaa_ Instagram for the first time. \nA recording of the webinar will be at the links above and on our Advocacy webpage for those who can’t attend live. \nSign Up Today:\nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLastEmail * \n or Email Comment\n \n \n Comment or MessageSubmit \n  \n  \n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Decreasing Adhesions and Bowel Obstructions Naturally
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the next Ostomy Academy! Speakers Belinda Wurn\, PT and Larry Wurn\, LMT – CEO of Clear Passage® Therapies\, a non-surgical\, drug-free therapy focuses on breaking down adhesions to restore pain-free function\, and it has proven effective for conditions like infertility\, bowel obstructions\, and post-surgical pain. \nEach speaker has undergone one or more major invasive surgeries. Adhesions\, powerful internal glue-like internal bonds\, form as the first step in healing from surgery. In too many cases\, these adhesions can narrow the bowel into strictures\, internal straitjackets that prevent food from passing easily through our body. Besides restricting nutrition\, the resulting small bowel obstruction (SBO) can be extremely painful or threaten life\, sending patients to the hospital for days at a time. \nAt this session\, you will learn about the structure of adhesions\, the ways they form and how the Wurns learned to detach them without surgery. After participating in this exciting session\, you will understand adhesions and methods that are backed by peer-reviewed studies and endorsed by medical professionals. \nRegister here for a link 30 minutes before the program or watch and comment live at the YouTube Link or on our Facebook Live Link. \nf you can’t make it live a recording will be available on the Ostomy Academy Webpage after the event. \n\n\n	Related
