We extend a warm welcome to the Montgomery AL Chapter of the United Ostomy Associations of America. This group is for those who have had or are facing possible ostomy surgery for intestinal or urinary conditions (colostomy, ileostomy, urostomy, or continent). We urge you to join us and to be encouraged by others who have journeyed down the same road. We usually have ostomy nurses at our meetings and sometimes have ostomy vendors or other presentations. You can ask questions and learn from tips shared by others. Family members/caregivers are welcome. We look forward to meeting you in person and can try to connect you with someone to talk with before the meeting.
We accept donated supplies for distribution to those in need.
Meetings are usually held on the second Sunday of every even month at 1:30pm but please call to confirm and get on our mailing list for meeting notices.
