Ready, set, go! It’s time to get your walking or running shoes on and plan to participate in UOAA’s 2nd Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k in East Stroudsburg, PA on Saturday, October 5, 2019.
This Certified Timed Race will be at the Levee Loop Trail at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg. The race will take participants on the scenic route through wooded and open hiking trails that parallel the Broadhead Creek. The out-and-back course will start and finish at the pavilion at Dansbury Park. This 5K course is mostly flat.
This event is held annually to raise awareness of this life-saving surgery, empower those living with an ostomy or continent diversion, and raise funds to support UOAA’s programs and services. We encourage you to invite family, friends, co-workers, caregivers and others to join you at this special event to walk, run or just enjoy the family-friendly festivities.
