The new Palm Coast Florida Hospital

The Palm Coast Area Ostomy Association is a support group for people with ostomies. An ostomy is required when a section of the intestine or urinary tract must be removed and waste must be collected in an external pouch. A colostomy, for example, is an ostomy created after a section of the colon (large intestine) is removed.

With the opening of the new Flagler Florida Hospital, facilities are available to organize a local Support Group for the Palm Coast- Flagler populace and other self-help and related organizations. Monthly meetings can be held at the Flagler Hospital facility for organizational purposes.
